Graham has been a member of the PGA of BC since 2004. Students benefit from his extensive knowledge and energetic attitude. Graham loves to play competitively and plays regularly on the Lower Mainland Srixon Tour.
CPGA Associate Professional: Philip Jonas email address
Philip grew up in South Africa before immigrating to Canada in 1989. While in South Africa Philip won the South African Junior Championships three times, and the Junior World twice while representing South Africa in the USA. In 1982 Philip attended Lamar University in Texas on a Golf Scholarship and while Lamar he won 7 collegiate tournaments. In 1986 Philip was chosen as a NCAA 1st Team All American. In 1986 Philip turned Professional and later that year he qualified for the US PGA Tour. During his sixteen year playing career Philip was a member of the Canadian, Asian, South African and South American Tours. Philip won four times on three different Tour's and is still ranked 5th on the Canadian Tours All Time Money List. Towards the end of 2002 Philip decided it was time to spend more time with his family and pursue his other passion Teaching Golf. Philip enjoys teaching all levels of golfers and his stable of students includes Tour Professionals, some juniors who have represented their Countries internationally, but he also loves introducing beginners to the great game of golf. Since becoming a Teaching Professional Philip has twice been named BCPGA Player of the Year including victories in the BCPGA and twice in the Canadian PGA Assistants. In 2005 and 2006 Philip was an on Course Television reporter for TSN/CTV at The Canadian Open. email address

Superintendent: James Muter
James began his turfgrass career in 1993 at Richmond Country Club being promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 1995 after receiving his diploma from Kwantlen College. During his time at Richmond James was part of major numerous drainage, renovation, and irrigation improvements as well as hosting the BC Amateur and other major tournaments. James worked in Australia in 2000 at Metropolitan Golf Club rebuilding greens in preparation for the World Match Play Championships. James continues to attend turfgrass conferences and seminars to keep pace with changes in the turfgrass industry. James started at Hazelmere in 2007 and become an integral part of the West Coast Golf Group Team. email address

Assistant Superintendent: Mitchell Guest
Mitchell started his career in Timmins at Spruce Needles Golf and Country Club. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent after receiving his diploma from Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario and Turf Managers short course at Guelph University. Mitchell worked at the Toronto Board of Trade Golf Course, Lionhead Golf and Country Club and Vancouver Golf Club. Mitchell started at Hazelmere in 2007 and has been able to use his past experiences to become an important part of our team..

Manager Sales & Marketing: Tim Fuchihara
Tim is a member of the West Coast Golf Group Sales Team. A Marketing
graduate from BCIT, Tim has a well-rounded education and a
great understanding of the corporate environment. With over 14
years in the Golf Business, his assets are the promotion and
development of corporate programs where he has become extremely
successful. Tim brings to the team his exceptional standards
for customer service, enthusiasm, professionalism, knowledge
and strong interpersonal skills.
Tim recently proved his success by winning the 2002 Peak Performer of the Year award in the Sales category for all of Intrawest Golf's properties. To celebrate, he took a well-deserved trip to Cabo San Lucas. Fun in the sun was all he could talk about for months!
In the past, Tim has been our number one man in the Membership Sales world. More recently, Tim has also taken on our Tournament Sales department. He is looking forward to bringing the best of Swan-e-set to the new members of this season and to all of our tournaments for the season. He is anticipating an awesome season with a number of sales programs and initiatives in place. Tim feels fortunate to be a part of such a great team and group of friends. The sales office is always smiling when Tim is around. email address
Regional General Manager: Troy Peverley
Troy was a member of the UBC Thunderbird Golf team from 1984 to 1986 and graduated with a Commerce Degree with a Marketing Major. He started at Hazelmere in 1983 and has seen Hazelmere grow into a facility with excellent condition year round capable of hosting a Canadian Tour, and a Canadian Open Qualifying event. Troy took on the additional responsibility of Assistant General Manager of Belmont Golf Course in 1999 and was promoted to Regional General Manager of the West Coast Golf Group in 2006. He has been the on the PGA of BC Board of Director since 2003 and currently is Vice President and responsible for the finance portfolio . He also serves on the National Golf Course Owners Association BC Advisory Board. He enjoys all aspects of operating a course including golf instruction and marketing. Troy believes the success of the West Coast Golf Group has been the friendly professional staff at each facility. email address
