MEET OUR TEAM LEADERS...
Director of Golf: Tracy Matthews
Tracy is the Head Golf Professional at Belmont Golf Course and has been a member of the PGA of BC for seven years and a member of the CPGA for ten years. She received a diploma in Golf Course Management from Camosun College. She is an accomplished player and has been instructing golfers of all abilities through private lessons, group clinics and golf schools. Tracy co-coached the Kwantlen University College Golf Team from 2004 to 2006. email address
Acting Superintendent: Brad James
Brad began his career at Belmont Golf Course in 1999, he has since then progressed through the ranks at Belmont and has now become the acting superintendent. Brad graduated from Kwantlen University College in 2002 with a diploma in Turfgrass Management. Brad has a passion for the game of golf and looks forward to the continuing development of Belmont Golf Course.
LPGA Professional: Jill Srigley
Jill Srigley was a member of Belmont golf course before she began her employment in September of 2004. She first began at Belmont as a shuttle cart driver and was soon moved into the golf shop full time as she displayed great competence and professionalism in her work. Her love for golf and her performance as a junior golfer enabled her to get a golf scholarship to Idaho state university where she completed a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. After her schooling, she attained her status as a Golf Professional with the LPGA. When Jill is not working at Belmont, you can find her teaching the game at the driving range at Hazelmere Golf Course. Jill has been a tremendous addition to the Belmont service team and we congratulate her on being selected Belmont Golf Course Employee of the Year for 2006. email address
Assistant Superintendent: Dave Creighton
David began
his turfgrass maintenance career at the Castlegar Golf Course.
In 2003 he attended Kwantlen University College acquiring his
diploma in Turf Management. After graduating in 2004 he
continued his career at the Vancouver Golf Club for two years.
In December 2006 David joined the Turf maintenance team at
Belmont Golf Course as the assistant superintendent. David
looks forward to a long and successful career at the Belmont
Golf Course.
Administration: Michele Lindsay
Starting in Belmont's food and beverage operation in 1987, Michele Lindsay proved to be a hard working and trusted employee who quickly earned the admiration of everyone who worked with her. After one short year of service in the kitchen, Michele was promoted to an accounting position where she continues to this day to be a key members of our administration team. Always ready, willing and able to assist wherever and whenever needed, Michele was named Belmont Golf Course Employee of the Year for 2005. email address

Regional General Manager: Troy Peverley
Troy was a member of the UBC Thunderbird Golf team from 1984 to 1986 and graduated with a Commerce Degree with a Marketing Major. He started at Hazelmere in 1983 and has seen Hazelmere grow into a facility with excellent condition year round capable of hosting a Canadian Tour, and a Canadian Open Qualifying event. Troy took on the additional responsibility of Assistant General Manager of Belmont Golf Course in 1999 and was promoted to Regional General Manager of the West Coast Golf Group in 2006. He has been the on the PGA of BC Board of Director since 2003 and currently is hold the position of President. He also serves on the National Golf Course Owners Association BC Advisory Board. He enjoys all aspects of operating a course including team building and marketing. Troy believes the success of the West Coast Golf Group has been the friendly professional staff at each facility. email address
