Belmont Golf Course was designed by Les Furber in 1993. Belmont is open to member and public play and is a popular facility for golf tournaments. With six par three's and four sets of tees this full size championship course has a layout that caters to golfers of all abilities.
Belmont was selected to hosted the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School 2005 to 2007. The 2005 medalist was Will Yanagisawa. In 2006 the Chang Hong from Korea was the medalist by a record breaking 10 strokes.
In 2007 Seven Canadians were
among the 16 players to earn cards Friday as the Canadian
Tour’s Spring Qualifying School wrapped up in B.C.

Petersson posted a final-day even par 70 at Belmont Golf
Club to take medallist honours. With a four-round total of
13-under 267, Petersson finished four shots clear of runner-up
Brian Benedictson (Comox, BC),
Pan Singhaseni (Beverley Hills, Calif.) and former
Canadian amateur star
Andrew Parr (London, Ont.).
Seven players earned exempt status for the remainder of the
Canadian Tour season, including Canadians Benedictson, Parr
and Dion Sirianni of Kamloops, BC.
Nine others earned non-exempt, or conditional, status, among
them British Columbians

Tyler Pitt, Greg Machtaler and Stephen Thomas.
